Climbing Injury Prevention: Shoulders

What you need to know from your physical therapists at Langford.

Come to MoveTru and learn about common rock climbing shoulder injuries and what you can do to reduce your risk of injury.

Presentations and exercise guidance by Dr. Jenny Ploss, experienced physical therapist and rock climber at Langford.

This February, we are offering another free climbing shoulder injury prevention class.  Our previous shoulder classes fill up early, so we are offering several workshops for climbers each year: two for the shoulder, and one each for the wrist and fingers (sign up for our mailing list below to get notifications when these are scheduled!). Come learn about climbing shoulder injuries and how to reduce your risk of finger injury. This workshop will be taught Jenny Ploss, PT, DPT. Jenny is a physical therapist with extensive rock climbing experience.  She is currently serving as the Team Mojo Physical Therapist, and teaches regular strength and movement classes for rock climbers at MoveTru. Come on over in February and learn about common shoulder injuries in rock climbing, and practice the movements you should be doing during to reduce your risk of injury.
